Carte Blanche  – Champion Design Ravenna
Sound Design Class assignment, Start Year 3 – My Introduction to Unity & FMOD

For this year’s “Carte Blanche” project, I wanted to step outside the traditional scope of my usual film assignments and dive into something new and exciting. I chose to develop a game around a champion I created, learning FMOD and Unity along the way to bring the project to life. While my timeframe was brief, I’m continuing to refine the project in my free time, with plans to further enhance it in an upcoming assignment.

Sound design for games has become a true passion of mine, and I’m excited to continue honing my skills. I’m eager to take this project to the next level, turning it into a fully realized “mini game.”

What’s more, I designed the concept for this champion before the release of Arcane, showcasing my ability to create unique and original ideas. I’m driven, adaptable, and ready to contribute my creativity and skills to a team like Riot Games.

Unity &  FMOD:

I had help from with Mark Dissel who provided invaluable guidance in developing the code that powers her movement. While the video itself doesn’t feature embedded sound, I took the initiative to design and implement the sound effects using FMOD.

I’m excited to continue pushing my boundaries of sound design and game development. Although I’m fairly new with these programms, this will not stop me from getting there quickly. With this project and any other.
